Methodology
Rating = (points differential/game + 0.025 × yards differential/game + 2 × turnover margin/game) × games/(games+6). Coefficients are provisional and have not been calibrated. The calculator is not an estimated win probability, point spread, or independently verified betting edge. For measured forward performance, see the NFL Calibration and Results Audit pages. The experimental comparison can be calculated locally without sending submitted team statistics to the server. No team data is prefilled or fabricated.
